Bro. Joe Nuss — Associate Pastor

We here at Son Rise want to thank the Lord for sending us Bro. Joe and Ms. Lisa Nuss, along with their three children, Seth, Kelsey, and Andrew. Bro. Joe became our Asst. Pastor in April of 2008, and has been a wonderful blessing to the ministry of Son Rise Baptist Church. Bro. Joe Pastored the Calvary Baptist Church in Hartselle, AL. for several years, before that he served as Asst. Pastor as well at Calvary Baptist Church. Bro. Joe displays a true heart for God, with his gentle nature, kind manner, yet with a fire burning in his heart to preach the Word of God and to be a true help to the church and the man of God. Bro. Joe has a true gift of friendship and compassion, along with his preaching, Bro. Joe teaches our New Converts Class. He helps us lay a Biblical foundation to what it really means to being " born again". We are thankful to the Lord for His Divine Plan, and sending this family our way. In Christ Bro. Brian Bridges

Bro. Carl Lloyd — Youth Minister

We want to thank the Lord for sending us Bro. Carl Lloyd as our Youth Minister. Along with his wife Melissa, & daughter Harmony Lloyd, ( and soon to be here in Oct. 2008, Hope Samantha Lloyd). It is a true blessing to have them here serving the Lord with us. Not only are they our family in Christ, they are also our earthly family. Bro. Carl is my brother-in-law. It is a wonderful priviledge to be a part of the Lord's Work serivng beside your own family. Bro. Carl and Ms. Melissa have a true heart and desire to see our young people grow in the Lord. Bro. Carl teaches our Teen Boys Sunday School class, our Wed. night Youth Class. He leads our Youth Choir and also cordinates our youth activities. As well Bro. Carl is a fine Man of God with a heart for worship. Bro. Carl preaches in our Assisted Living Ministry every other month. We are blessed to have Bro. Carl and Family, with such a heart for the Lord and a help to fulfill the ministry of the Church. Thank You Pastor Brian Bridges

Bro. Josh harvel — Deacon / Choir Director

We here at Son Rise are so thankful to have Bro. Josh Harvel as a serving deacon. Bro. Josh has been a faithful member of Son Rise Baptist for many years ,along with his wife Jennifer, and their 2 children, Braelyn and Bryson. Bro. Josh was ordained in May of 2008, and has been serving activily and faithfully in the support of his church. Along with his duties as Deacon, Bro. Josh has also been serving as our Choir Director for 3yrs and we are so thankful for his work and dedication he places in these areas. We are blessed to able to serve beside such Godly people, and we give the Lord Praise for sending people like Bro. Josh our way. Thank You Pastor Brian Bridges
